 Police cars being replaced by Dodge Charger |
The city is going to give two Dodge Charger Police Cars a chance this year, and they look good.

| Council Meeting of Feb 18, 2008 Councilor Krumm met regarding the request for an additional patrol car for this fiscal year. We have been replacing one car a year but with the aging cars in the department there is still a need. Chief Torbet provided the committee information on different models. Chief Torbet had talked to other departments on cars they had used and ruled out the Impalas. Chief Torbet is requesting a Charger. After discussion we agreed that the Charger is a good idea. We are recommending that we purchase two Chargers this year, one is already budgeted for and the other one would be an additional purchase not budgeted for. |
